Across Hermitage Farm, historic rooms, gardens, barns, patios, and open pasture create a setting for everything from intimate dinners and corporate retreats to weddings and celebrations for hundreds. Barn8 brings the table to it all, with food and hospitality rooted in the same Kentucky landscape surrounding your guests.

The Hayloft
Upstairs at Barn8, the Hayloft pairs the original character of the barn with views of the surrounding farm. A floor-to-ceiling bourbon barrel rick, globe lights, drapery, and art give the room its own sense of place while built-in audiovisual technology makes it equally suited to weddings, celebrations, dinners, and corporate gatherings.
Rental includes tables, chairs, linens, and serviceware.

The Main House
Built in 1835, the Main House offers a more intimate way to gather at Hermitage Farm. Historic architecture and a collection of contemporary art fill the rooms, while the surrounding lawn and landscape create a natural backdrop for ceremonies, dinners, receptions, and retreats.
For gatherings that extend beyond the evening, the Main House offers overnight accommodations for up to 14 guests. The nearby Smokehouse can accommodate up to four additional overnight guests.

The Patio & Paddock
Behind the Main House, the limestone Patio opens onto the surrounding farm for tented or open-air gatherings. Just beyond it, the Paddock offers room to go bigger.
Here, guests gather beneath pin oaks and alongside the black plank fences that have defined this landscape for generations. With rolling Bluegrass pasture in every direction, the Paddock brings large weddings and celebrations into the heart of the farm.

The Greenhouse & Gardens
Surrounded by winding garden paths, the Greenhouse offers a setting shaped by what grows at Hermitage Farm. Its two chambers, the Citrus Room and Living Wall Room, are home to plants and citrus grown throughout the year and can accommodate dinners, receptions, and company gatherings.
The glass structure opens visually to the gardens beyond, keeping the landscape at the center of the experience in every season.

The Stud Barn
The Stud Barn brings guests especially close to Hermitage Farm’s equestrian history. The restored barn is home to our carriage driving horses as well as the farm’s carriage collection, custom leather tack, trophies, and pieces of its racing history.
An adjoining outdoor patio provides additional room to gather, making the Stud Barn a natural setting for intimate dinners, receptions, and celebrations surrounded by one of Kentucky’s defining traditions.
